Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including account information, planner settings, financial planning inputs, scenario branches, AI prompts, billing identifiers, and support messages.

When you sign in, Firebase Authentication may provide your name, email address, profile image, and authentication identifier. When you subscribe, Stripe processes payment details and provides us subscription, customer, and billing status information. We do not store full payment card numbers.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the planning app, save your settings, run projections, manage subscriptions, provide AI features, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

AI Features

If you use Unlatched AI, your prompt, recent conversation context, and relevant planner data may be sent to our AI provider to generate a response and structured planning actions. Do not enter information you do not want processed by the AI service.

Service Providers

We use service providers such as Firebase, Stripe, and OpenAI to operate authentication, data storage, billing, and AI functionality. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Financial Information And Modeling

Unlatched stores the planning inputs you save so you can return to your plan later. Projections are estimates based on assumptions and historical data. Unlatched is not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.

Data Retention

We retain account and planner data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Your Choices

You may update planner data in the app, cancel billing through the billing portal when available, or contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.

Children

Unlatched is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last updated.
